Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is a nurturing learning program designed for Kindergarten students to build strong foundations in Mathematics and English. Through engaging activities and small-group guidance, our sessions help your child develop early numeracy, reading and communication skills in a fun environment. We focus on building confidence, curiosity and a love for learning, ensuring your child takes their first academic steps with excitement.
Mavericks
The Mavericks is our Mathematics and English foundation program, designed to strengthen core academic skills while challenging students to think critically in problem-solving. Through structured lessons, the program helps students master key concepts in numeracy, reading and writing, while building a launchpad for long-term academic success.
Take a Leap
TLP 4-5 onwards: 3 hours
Take A Leap is our competitive test preparation program, designed to prepare high-achieving students for Private School Scholarship Tests, Private School Placement Tests and the Selective Entry Examination (for entry into Melbourne High School, MacRobertson Girls’ School, Suzanne Cory High School and Nossal High School). The course focuses on developing advanced Mathematics, English and Ability skills, through encouraging students to apply critical thinking. The program also provides a plethora of opportunities to practice under exam conditions. Through Take a Leap, students can develop analytical ability and exam strategies, which position them to excel in competitive examinations conducted by EduTest and ACER.

Naplan Preparation Program
BrightMindz’s NAPLAN Preparation Program helps students build the skills and confidence needed to perform to a high standard in the NAPLAN assessments. In sessions, students strengthen their abilities in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and mathematics, while practising exam-style questions under test conditions, and effective strategies to approach the assessment with confidence.Â
ICAS Preparation Program
BrightMindz’s ICAS Preparation Program is designed to help students perform to a high standard in the ICAS Assessments. Through challenging problem-solving and advanced development in English, Mathematics and Science, students strengthen their critical thinking and accuracy while becoming familiar with the style of ICAS exam questions.
AMC Preparation Program
AMC Preparation prepares students for the Australian Mathematics Competition by developing strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Students work through challenging competition-style questions, learning strategies to approach complex problems with confidence, while strengthening logical thinking and accuracy.
